i'm 14 and just about to go into year 10 so am starting to look for my work experience placements and some volunteer work. i want to be a vet so need something to d with animals i've tryed loads of places all of which say we cant take you if your under 16 because of insurance does anyone know of anywhere that would possibly take me i am in worksop nottinghamshire

Insurance makes it really tricky! Not sure what you have near you, but you could try the following:
animal shelter/sanctuary,
vets,
lab work, (eg, DEFRA labs)
Some hospitals haev links with charitys that bring dogs onto the wards for the patients to spend time with;
guide dogs,
local hunt
puppy training classes
dog agility
equine physio and related horsey things (mc timony, dentist farrier etc),
Think that is all I can think of at the moment.
Any of those I reckon would help your app, if there is a insurance prob, perhaps you could just help on the reception desk? At least it gets your foot in the door, then they might be more inclined to let you back to do more?
