I'm studying for an FdSc Equine Management degree and have to complete a work placement for 150 hours as part of this. If anybody knows any places where this would be possible, preferably with accommodation provided, that would be a great help as everyone I have emailed so far have not provided me with a response. Thanks, Alice.

Emails are easy to ignore, especially when a lot of people running yards are probably barely computer literate!

How about ringing a few up and speaking to them personally, or dropping by any more local yards. What sort of businesses do they have to be? Perhaps if you could specify it might help us with suggestions. Do you need to work in a livery yard, or a riding school for example? Or a competition yard?

What are you trying to get out of this? What do you want to do after your course? What are you actually interested in?

All these things you need to consider!
