Hrmf and they have asked me to organise it! Grrrr!

So they want to go horseriding, then to the pub (!!)

One Sunday

Requirements:

1. They must be able to go straight out on a hack - no 1/2 hr ridins assesment

2. Must be in commuting distance of South/South west London

3. Must be fun!

4. Must be near to a pub

So...any ideas? I cannot believe the townies I work with want to go horseriding!!!

if you go to any good place they will assess them, to find out what horse suits and at what pace they can go...
however if you go to a bad place, well, lets hope they are insured!

Think in this day and age with all the claims being made against riding schools, you've got very little chance of finding somewhere that will just hand them a horse and let them go

From the schools point of view, its just asking for trouble.

At the least they're going to want to assess them to give them the right horses. At the most you're going to get some not allowed out id imagine.

I know of a place in Wiltshire (pretty far I know, but I think just about considered within commuting distance of London)- used to work there, we often had large groups of people, some of whom had ridden, some not. They do all day (6 hour) rides with lunch in pub in the middle. PM me if you want to know more.
