Working and ridden hunter classes in the South West, Bristol area

For all you event riders, show jumpers and general riders do you use working hunter classes and ridden hunter classes as schooling for babies? A friend of mine is organising a showing show in bristol on the 13th June with a wide range of all classes and an all day worker ring for all types and levels. During the course there was a lot of chat that the worker and hunter classes entries are dropping off at shows across the south west?

I personally show horses so I am not the one to ask if there is still a call for them. As a general rule would peoples still like the worker sections..

Which show is that rushyj? There's LOADS of shows on in this area on the 13th. I find there are very few working hunter classes in the area, I didn't go to ONE show that had workers at local level last year. I want to get Genie doing workers this year, so I would definately want to enter, but there also is very seldom working M&M or working cob.

We used to love M&M WHP with our Welsh B. He wasn't the fllashiest but would jump absolutely anything so could beat "poncie" ponies who wouldn't deem to jump a pole. I think WHP gives non serious showing people a chance.

It is the SWSS showing Show there are worker classes for M&M WHP, Nursery stakes M&M and plaited, Confined novice workers (All heights) even working hunters for Traditional Cobs of all colours. So the thinking was give workers to everyone.

Ah I don't think I can take G to that as she's not registered, so will go to one of the others where she can do more than one class.
