So.... I was looking for a BC for a good friend. A friend who enlisted me to help her as a first time owner as we have had the breed for 20 odd years now. So I put out some feelers and having done some fostering and rehoming before, ended up with, ahem, 3 young collies here :D

However Working GSD's (Moss) was one of them and he arrived here like some kind of arrow through my heart :o !
I did not need another dog. I did not WANT another dog! However he got under not only my skin but my hubby's and child's as well, so much so that miniNSN was begging for him to stay. The added advantage for me is that we are on a croft and although one of my dogs is helpful with the sheep , Im no great sheep dog handler and this boy is really useful ! Everyone goes through heartbreak with dogs :( however I lost my boy, my one and only boy (Ive always been a bitch person), 3 years ago. He was only 1 month off his 10th birthday :( That dog and I, the connection was almost spiritual and losing him devastated me. There is something in the way Working GSD's dog looked at me, how he moves, his mannerisms.. even how he smells. He reminds me so much of him. Other than that my boy was pretty hard wired and this lad is a breath of fresh air he is so chilled out - and my bitches are head over heels in love.

So...... he stayed. The thought of him going anywhere was like the bottom falling out of my stomach.

Now renamed as we have a Mac, I have a new BFF. Harris :o
Here, on a job with me being my trucking buddy

I must thank Working GSD for letting me have this lad, it's a real privilege.

That is lovely, how perfect! And WGSD could not have wished for a happier and more perfect life for him, by the sound of things. So pleased. :-)

I couldn’t be happier with the new home. I’m over the moon. I struggle a bit when OH has to part with a dog that isn’t working out but appreciate he can’t do his job without capable dogs, but this time my mind is completely at ease.

He’ll have a wonderful life with you NE and I love getting all the updates and photos, so thank you.
