I'll be having a go at a few M&M Working Hunter HOYS qualifyers this year.

Which bit is correct (or most preferred bit) to use in this class? I'd say the horse goes just as well in a snaffle, pellham and double - so it's not a case that she goes better in one (which would make the decision easy).

Any advice would be great!

If your horse goes wellin a snaffle them ride him in that. Mine goes in a snaffle with running martingale and in my opinion if they go as well in a snaffle as others do in a double bridle then don't worry to much. Single rein makes life easier too!

A Double/Pelham always looks better but in WH its not as strick as the flat, but whatever you do your jumping in you have to do your show in, you cant change any tack except take jumping boots off. I have seen a variety of different bits in a WH class.

Whatever they go best in! My sister qualified (and finished in the rosettes) wearing a standing martingale and a dutch gag, not usual in WH classes but that's what that the mare jumped best in and if you don't go clear you're not in with much of a chance!! :>)
