Working Hunter with splints

Hi,
My mare has two fairly large splints on her front legs and I'm just wondering if I could still compete her in working hunters with these? They don't affect her performance in any way and the vet has checked them and said they won't affect her.

You can certainly compete her, they will count against her but if everything else is spot on then you could still do well and have fun.

I had a gorgeous id x Tb who I competed in workers. He had a splint on both front legs. They were never mentioned and we won loads and to a high standard. Go for it x

Workers tend to get away with it abit more but saying that we are off to HOYS on the flat with a splint
