Anyone got a horse on working livery?

If so, has the horse changed for the worse/better?

A friend of mine is considering it for her little cob. Someone's already mentioned it for mine, but I couldn't relinquish control over him! He's a sensitive boy, I think it would be bad for him and I'd hate not to be able to do what I want wheni want. :o

I spent 6 years riding and working at a busy RS that was dominated with working liveries of ALL types. It suited some, it didn't suit others.

Think a lot of it comes down to the management of said RS/college and staff involved.

Mines on working livery at a college and it suits us well. She's not perfect, so isn't everyones first choice of horse (good as the opportunity to be over worked is
reduced :)). It kills me to do it but
financially I have to. She is pretty
well schooled and the main thing I have to 'iron out' when I ride at weekends is having the outside rein used to pulling to the track.
