working on a stud farm ? courses?

i applied for the British racing school but im not sure that i want to go there i would rather work on a stud farm. is that possible if i have no experience with horses ?

and does anyone know of any courses i could do ? i know there is the national stud but that's not until October and i would like to start before then if possible

Many studs offer NVQs or apprenticeships these days, when I was deciding whether I wanted to work with horses after school I asked a stud in my village if I could volunteer to learn the ropes
