World Breeding Championships(Lanaken) Competitor lists announced

Ok - Just seen on the Z website that the list has been announced for the champs and we have got some decent entries for the UK! Shirley at Brendons must be over the moon as she has had 2 stallions selected, Unbelievable Darco (who won the 5 and the 6 yr old champs in 2002 and 2003) has been selected for the stallion class and her young Tangelo stallion, Warrior, has been selected for the 5 yr old class! In addition, one of the horses they initially produced has already qualified with Scott Brash, Sauron ML. Caron Nicol's stallion Zorro has been selected again, as well as Ben Maher awesome black stallion Triple X.

That's interesting, there seems to be loads more than usual going this year. Ben Maher's 5 year old, Rowan, is lovely; I remember his dam, Landega Laura jumping trials a few years ago. I wonder why Laura Renwick hasn't been selected though? She's had a cracking season with her 6 yr olds.

very good to see so many UK entries...wish them all good luck.

Carron Nicol, won the SSH 3yr loose jumping @ the weekend with a gorgeous stallion Called Mr Visto, who is by Levisto (who i see in entries for Lanaken) he was a well deserving winner, with an amazing jump !!! also in the line up was Vancouver VD Zuuthoeve (gelding), who is by Wunder Boy VD Zuuthoeve, deff 2 to watch for the future

Nice to see the Zuuthoeve youngsters coming out more and more......our 2 foals are by El Thuder, who is a Thunder vd Zuuthoeve son and we are soo impressed that we may end up going to Thunder himselfn at some point
 
Has anyone got any Zuuthoeve horses broken and riding? I just sold my horse who is by Thunder Van de Zuuthoeve very well to America and I have the clients coming back in the new year. Also has anyone got the link to their website? Seem to have lost it..

Brendon's have a very very nice Thunder son competiong BSJA and standing at stud. Called El Thuder...We have 2 foals by him this year. Brendon's also have a Tangelo VD Zuuthoeve son called Warrior - see above as he is competing at Lanaken

Warrior off to Belgium tomorrow having just returned from Arena UK where he won one of the 5 year old qualifiers and the Championship. Fingers crossed for Lanaken.
