Ben Maher was next in line to go to Geneva as Jessica Kuerten's replacement but it is the great Swedish rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, who will replace her. It has been reported that before her unlucky accident she'd already decided against taking her best horse Libertina.

I thought it was Harrie Smolders who was next in line after Jessica Kurten but turned it down? So pleased for RGB - he is taking his third horse Quintero La Silla. Fingers crossed from me.

No - I imagine Ben had other plans, once he'd failed to qualify at den Bosch - he had said World Cup was not his main priority this year. WEG more important.

Harrie was one place behind Ben - they were level on points, but Ben (who didn't do many events) had a higher place finish, which is the tie-breaker
