I see in H & H that tickets for the Eventing dressage have sold out.

I have bought a package deal, and included in that is 2 days of dressage - but for the second day there is an alternative of doing a bit of sight-seeing and not to sit through another day's dressage. As far as I can gather WEG will not be like Badminton, with loads of interesting stands to browse around, it will be dressage and nothing else. I don't mind one day, but two days is probably getting a bit much!

I was thinking of taking up the option of the sight-seeing! But I feel mean that I will have had a ticket that I am not going to use. (Before anyone gets in touch, I haven't decided yet, I want to see what the other members of my party want to do). If lots of people think like that it will be like the Olympics, with lots of empty seats, yet other people disappointed that they can't get in.

Any thoughts?

I was gutted not to get anything for the Olympics, and seeing the empty seats was so sad.

I have to admit I would easily manage two days of dressage as I'm a nosy sod and like to know exactly how everyone is placed etc

However if you won't cope, I'd sell the ticket (even at the gates I bet you could!) and go sightseeing.

Out of interest, how do you know there won't be shops etc? Surely there would be - all the trade stands will want to be there!!!
