Saw this little beastie in a poo Kenny had just done whilst i was mucking out - just wondering if anyone can help me ID it? I'm thinking pinworm but what do you think? He was wormed a few weeks ago. It was originally in the pale splodge which is on the right in the first pic (not sure if that is relevant) but i had been prodding at it which is why it has moved.

Pinworm. If you wormed a few weeks ago then I would do again with 5 days of panacur as all dead worms should have been passed by now.

Pinworm, but my vet said that it takes 5 months to get to this stage( ie, passed out in dung) so could be one which 'missed' the November wormingand hung on till now or was resistant. Try embotape, perhaps, but the pinworm eggs aren't picked up on egg count usually so you need to carry through your usual worming plan but add in something to ensure no further pinworms. They are quite resistant once they get a hold and you would need to do monthly doses for 3 months running of something suitable!
