wormer for lamanitic horse

As the title says really. Horse recovering from laminites but had a bout of colic last week. Vet came and took bloods as a precaution of which I asked him to do test for tape worm. Blood tests show elevated liver emzynes and that horse as been exposed to tapeworm in last 6 months. So now need to worm for tape worm and encrysted red worm but dont know which to use. Should I use seperate wormers as have read that combined one's are dangerous for lamanitic. Thanks

I'm not an expert so can only say what I'd do.

I'd give an Equitape for tapeworm. I wouldn't worm for encysteds yet, partly because I don't until December & also because I'd want a gap between the two drugs. When I did I'd use Panacur Guard rather than Equest for a laminitic.
