My mare (16h QH) shares our yard with a friend's pony (13h welsh x arab).
We both bought them about May time this year, freshly wormed in their old homes. We then wormed with Equest Pramox (if my memory serves me correctly) in July.
They haven't been wormed since then, neither look poor or ribby (in fact the pony is very porky!) but I've been told to wait for a good frost or two to worm again now.
We haven't been great with poo picking this year, so the main paddock has a few piles in their chosen "poo patches", should we shovel all this up, or with the winter mud will it all be trampled in and not matter?
What should we be worming with at this time of year?
General help/advise needed please!
Thank you, and late night chocolate cheesecake to all
