Wormers ,which one are you using?

I used paramox last time {end of Dec} Think I will worm now then have a worm count in 2 weeks .Do you think I should use that again or change. I had been using
double dose strongid P alternated with equimax when just doing for red worm ect.
Also where is offering best deals?

I'm using Equest and Equest Pramox for mine and the yard. I've been told that I can use it for 3 years then something else for a year and then back to Equest. I'm going to have worm counts done aswell to stop worming when there is no need to.

Forgot to say I always use the Equine Pharmacy/Hyperdrug, always cheaper and comes quickly even with their FREE delivery.

We are on equimax/ strongip p. I vary between Equine Pharmacy/Hyperdrug and wormers direct both very good

I have just double dosed with StrongidP, but I am still an old fashioned girl and use Equvalan at other times ... I expect I am wrong as I normally am

If Pramoxed end Dec, I'd worm count to see IF they need doing again.

If they did, ordinary Equest.

My yard will be on equitape. They have just all be worm counted and come back clear, so want to worm for tapeworm early.
Carthorse - it might be worth checking with your company who does your worm counts if you should do them before you worm. I've been advised to worm count a minimum of 8 weeks (13 if equested before) after worming, as if you worm count too soon it can give a false read.....
