Sorry for the strange title, couldn't think of how to put it!
Basically I got a new horse a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't worm over the Christmas/new year period as nowhere was open for advice and wanted to speak to someone before buying.
Anyway, spoke to westgate labs the other day about the new one, the day before I contacted them I noticed what looked like a pinworm in her droppings (just the one though). She doesn't/didn't have any symptoms.
They advised me to worm with double dose strongid P, which I did on Tuesday after ordering them online.
Yesterday there were a fair few worms in her droppings - probably around 10 worms in 5 droppings.
Today there were far more, probably 25 worms in each dropping, around 10 droppings were affected.
I am just panicking as that seems an awful lot of worms! Again she doesn't have any symptoms at all, eating well, bright etc. Wondering how long this will go on for really, and how concerned I should be about the burden she had?
Thanks
