Worming an underweight pregnant mare

Hello,
I have just bought back a pony i used to own 2 years ago, she is in very poor condition, patches of hair missing, extremly underweight and it looks as if she has had laminitis in the past. I have just been informed that she may also be in foal.
Which wormers are the best to use to cover every type of worm just to be safe?

The short answer is dont use a single all powerful wormer, you need to do a couple separately so as not to be too much for the horse as it is in poor condition and pregnant to boot. No Pramox!

I would probably go for StrongID-P as it is recommended for pregnant mares. Double dose to kill tapeworms as well as redworms. NB there is some resistance to the chemical in it for tapeworm but still would go for this one until you know she isnt preggers. OR you could do single dose for normal worms only, and have her blood tested for tapeworms, if negative you wouldnt need to tapeworm at all, if positive vet could advise on whether to worm with the other tapeworm active ingredient group (in Equitape etc)

That leaves encysted stage of redworm, which could be covered by dosing with Equest (which is also stated to be safe for pregnant mares)two or three weeks after the StrongID.

But also get some advice from a SQP (qualified person) at an outlet that sells wormers or from vet
