Worming and egg counts

Which wormer do you use this time of year? If you do a egg count do you do it before or after worming, our ym (were on a DIY yard) is talking about getting us all to do a egg count after worming, I thought it would be better to do it before am i wrong?

Hi, I count all the time but you need to worm to cover bots, encysted red worm and tape as they dont show on an egg count. ive just done equimax - for tape. You NEVER worm before doing an egg count, or you may get false positive results. If you count after worming make sure the wormer time has elapsed first - eg 10 weeks for equimax etc
