Worming & flea treatment when in season

Tiva has just come into season (her 1st) but is due worming and frontline. I use milbamax as a lung worm preventer so it is monthly. She is the first of my girls to have this regime so previously I have just waited until the season has finished. So here is my question do you worm or flea treat whilst in season?

I don't know of any reason why it would matter? I have never heard the vets say there was any contraindications.

I've always held off because I feel if they are feeling slightly fragile being in season then to add workers that can give tummy ache is a big too much. However I have just heard that a local dog has died of lung worm so Tiva has had her tablets.
Ling worm is on the increase in Nottingham unfortunately do wormers all round
