I don't know the worming history of my new mare, judging by her vaccination record it may have been very infrequent/non-existant.
A FEC has shown positive for strongyles and very positive (3/3) for ascarids.
The vet who performed the test recommended using Strongid P, however in the past my horses have always reacted (become very foot sensitive) to Strongid P, and I'm reluctant to use this again if it can be avoided.
Any recommendations? (generic/ingredient name would be better, as we may not have the same brands available in France)
