Worming programme...advice needed

Hi - have just bought two horses home from livery. Wasn't sure what to do on worming as both were wormed just before I left. Should I start again and if so can anyone recommend a good worming programme to follow? If not, what should I do?

Collect a fresh sample of poo from each in the moring and take it to your vets for a worm count and give them details of when you last wormed and what you used. They will be able to tell you what your count is and when you next need to worm and with what.

yes if they have just been wormed no need to do it again, but you can also use abbey diagnostics or westgate labs, worm count in spring and summer, then a worming in autum as per vets advice
