Worming Programme

YO is putting together a new worming programme for the whole yard and is going to put everyone onto Equest/Equest Pramox.

When would you give them their autumn dose of Pramox? People are all on slightly different dates at the moment (not great I know but at least we don't share fields) and he wants to pick one date to start the new programme for everyone on.

I do mine around September time as its 13 weeks intervals and how it works out. Mine get done March -Equest Pramox, June - Equest, Sept - Equest Pramox, Dec - Equest

They want to be spread out at equal 13 week spaces, Pramox is best done in October.

they have to be done at 13 week intervals, but if there is anyone who is really over due i would advise using something milder as pramox is very strong and will do more harm then good.

i usually do it around november time because if you were worming for for tapes alone they say do it after the first frost then you catch the bots as well!
