I am intending to tape worm my horses next week with Equitape. I want to then worm with Eraquell.
How long should I leave in beween each wormer.
I won't use Equest pramox as I had an adverse reaction in one of my horses ( he didn't have a high worm burden as he had been worm counted regularly).
Any thoughts?

Encysted redworm don't show up in wormcounts. If your horse had an adverse reaction to pramox then i woud be far more worried about encysted redworm than tapeworm. Eraquell does not treat encysted only panacur five days or equest/pramox will. Equimax is similar to equitape and also contains ivermectin and will do tapeworm and other worms at same time but it doesn't treat encysted.

Maybe give whoever does your worm counts a quick call and ask them about the gap - I'd leave a week or so but that's a complete guess.
I agree with above re encysted worms - why don't you use plain Equest to treat those then equitape later on for the tape worms. I understand it's the combination of the two drugs together in Equest Paramox that people have concerns about.

^This^

Encysted larvae account for about 90% of the redworm burden so a low count doesn't necessarily mean that your horse doesn't have a high encysted burden.
