I've got one who is less polite. These days it goes in his feed in his stable. If you're hungry you'll eat it and you're not coming out of there until you do.
I sound like my mother.....
Not just worming but any syringe when spotted has Tigger sticking his head in the corner of his stable and declining a headcollar. Once caught he recommends the head tossing method as it's difficult to get the syringe into a fast moving target. Worming isn't too bad but Domosedan which needs careful positioning rather than point and shoot can be tricky.
Same with one of mine.
He gave me rotator cuff injury when on gastro guard.....that ended up going into his feed as well, with the vets ok.
I have matching rotator cuff tears from the same horse - Alf's best friend of 6 years. He was PTS just before Christmas, and I have thought about him a lot these last few days while I've been worming everything without the usual risk of injury. We both miss him a lot (my shoulders don't though!)

Beautiful.
It's one of my favourite photos of the pair of them - except for the bloody burrs in Alf's forelock! Such a shame!
For Domosedan put on a couple of pairs of thin latex gloves and measure the dose onto a finger. Then gently smear over the lips and gums - it absorbs through the membrane so this works well. Be very careful when taking off the gloves and getting rid of them though.
Alf most likely! He was the brains of the outfit!Auslander - who got the apple??
Getting the saliva sample for a tapeworm test is fun too.
