Worming regime...

Hi.

I was wondering if anyone had any easy to do worming regimes. Pony is on own in field and was on Equest/Strongid year in 2007, but I am not sure what to do for 2008. Any opinions? I have never truly understood worming, so something easy would be preferable. I don't think it is worth doing a worm count instead as I will be selling her in a few months.

you only need to use equest and equest pramox alternately every 3 months for a complete worming program - no need to rotate each year - just stick to that and dose properly for her weight.

Oh that sounds nice and easy! Damn, I just got back from the States where you can get Equest for about 4 quid. Will read up on it and have a look into doing that.

If you contact your vet they will help dewsign you a program. You should make sure your using the right drug at the right time of year.
Personally i follow a three year program changing each year to two diffrent groups.
