TBH I don't think you can class schooling in with hunting (unless you have some pretty intensive schooling sessions!)
After worming I'd give the horse at least an hour to digest, then hack/school as normal.
After vaccinations I ride the next day, hacking or schooling (although I did once take my pony to PC camp the day after her vaccs, but the vet approved "as long as I didn't make her sweat too much" (yeah right, that went out the window!))
After sedation I'd ride/compete as normal the next day.
After shoeing, I ride as normal straight away unless my horse is sore. I always check as IMO farrier needs to know so we can find out why shoeing is causing soreness. I have only had a horse go lame after shoeing once, but she wasn't in work at the time anyway!
I ride straight from the field (I don't tie my horse up to tack up!)
I give at least an hour after *finishing* the feed before riding (or travelling for that matter), and I always start the ride slowly so it's about an hour and a half before I do anything more strenuous.
I put other for wormer and vaccination, because although I would carry on as normal and not change my schooling/training plan, I would not worm before I intended to ride, so horse would not be ridden until the next day, I would ride as normal straight after vacs (you don't have to worry so much with the modern vacs), but I woudn't arrange vacs just before I was going competing or planning on doing some hard work.
I usually worm after I have worked Poutu and then work her as normal the next day.
I ride her as normal after she has been shod, if she has been sedated for whatever reason I give the full day off, I ride as normal for the vaccinations, give her over an hour to digest hard feed and groom then tack up if she has been out to grass.

I think what I wanted to get across by putting hunting/competing/schooling together is the idea that the horse will be carrying out strenuous activity - a light hack would not, IMO, involve any real 'questions' for the horse - it's more a case of just having a gentle plod up round a field/up the road. But I know when I school that Ellie rarely comes back without having broken a sweat! So that's why I put them together - seemed silly to have another category.
Wormed - I usually worm then feed but I wouldn't not ride just because they had been wormed.
Vaccinated - would ride straight after, make no difference according to my vet.
Sedated - if it was a full sedation carried out by the vet I would give at least a full day off then only hack lightly the next day.
Shod - I used to always do road work straight after as I was told it 'beds' the shoes.
Grass - I groom for 15 mins then tack up and ride.
Hard feed - I always feed after riding, but during a competition I would happily give her sugar beet and some mix after coming into a vet gate then get back on half an hour later and continue, never seemed to bother her.
I worm at night and keep him in so he's not ridden straight away. Have ridden after vaccs but we only hack anyway so just don't canter. If I ride on the day he is shod it's either before shoeing or much later in the day.
I try not to ride for a few hours after a feed but generally he's fed after we've ridden and I've faffed around for a while grooming etc. He's only been sedated twice for stitching silly injuries
Wormed - I always worm before I feed in the evening (hence after being ridden).
Vaccinated - would ride straight after, only a light hack or lunge - not sure if it is true but have been told not to get horse sweaty staright after jab
Sedated - if it was a full sedation carried out by the vet I would give at least a full day off then return to normal the next day.
Shod - Having had a couple of abscesses/nail binds I am paranoid now so after shoeing I will only go for a light hack and back into normal work then next day.
Grass - He gets bought in, I groom, chat, tack up, chat some more (so about 20-30min) then I will always walk round for 10min when I start riding/lunging.
Hard feed - I always feed after riding, but would at least leave half an hour before doing light work (e.g. a hack) or an hour before hard work
Worming: good day off
Vacc: deffo a good day off [I know how rough I felt after my Tet jab!!]
Sed: n/a never been needed
Shod: will ride the same day [i.e shod in the am will ride pm]
Grass: fresh spring grass well over an hour, autumn grass just over an hour
Hard Feed: well, well over an hour, usually she is fed in the am and I ride pm so not neccessary but I would never risk it.
Once went to an Endurance GB talk and they had a session about feeding and exercise...basically it goes like this....a zebra doesn't sit there and think "I musn't gallop full pelt as I have been eating non-stop for the last four hours"...no it continues grazing and legs it at anysign of trouble, full stomach or not... can understand those feeding compund feeds as opposed to fibre based feeds either leaving them for a couple of hours, or feeding after exercise (which a fellow LO does...staright after strenuous exercise????) but each to their own.
I normally worm after riding, then ride as normal next day. I would ride straight away after feet being done. A light hack day after jabs. At least 24 hours after sedation. Feed after riding, not before and I give them 10 minutes to cool down, ie not puffing, but don't wait that long as I only feed fibre so it is not a problem to feed a hot horse.
The last one was tricky to answer, as strictly speaking he doesn't have much of a hard feed. He has one scoop of Happy Hoof in the winter, but if I want to ride, I give him a couple of mouthfuls to appease him, then ride, then give him the rest (he's only hacked anyway). I'm in the majority results for the others, though!
