worming

hi,

I just wondered what kind of routine people have for worming, do you worm every 6 weeks like the BHS recommends, do you worm following your vets advice, do you use eggs counts or do you do something completely different?! For some reason I don't remember seeing many posts on this topic.

You got to be kidding!!
I use worm counts. Otherwise I would use a routine given by a vet or SQP,

i'm currently on the equest worming plan
which is one every 13 weeks, so a tape worm in the spring and autumn and a normal one in summer and winter, so easy to understand not too expensive and can be used for upto 3years on the trot before you are supposed to swap onto a different one to prevent resistance....
so many things and plans out there tho it gets confusing!!!
