I am virtually being sick writing this as I can tolerate ANYTHING excluding worms.
My dog is wormed every 3 months with Drontal Plus. Last night's walk ...and she has got worms. I was in such a panic i flew to tesco on a bank holiday and bought the only thing i could find Bob Martin all in one dewormer. Reading through it has to be given in the morning, but now worried that i should just ring vet. Having googled it the active ingredients are very different and i need these little visitors gone...
I have 2 small children, have washed all her bedding and cleaned everywhere, cannot risk any cross-contamination. Any advice gratefully received.

I would avoid any pet shop products as they tend to be ineffective. What did the worms look like? Grains of rice or long pasta looking worms? Were they dead?

Worming 3 monthly is perfect but maybe you need to alternate. Try milbemax from the vets, smaller tabs and much easier dosing than drontal.
