Wormed my two year old yesterday, she's come from a dealer and is unhandled so probably never been wormed before. I checked her poo today and sure enough I could see tiny red worms! Obviously that's the idea of worming, to get rid if worms but should I be worried at all!?

Red worm yuk,
No you don't need to worry as such but you need to speak to your vet to get advise about the best regime going forward .

Sounds as though the wormer did a good job. No big round worms? These are often a problem in unwormed youngsters. Sometimes they are resistant to the ivermectin and moxidectin product though so bear that in mind.
The way forward will be monitoring with tests, making sure you have covered for encysted worms and tapeworms too.
