I've recently brought my yearling home from his winter turnout with 15 other youngsters. They have all been wormed regularly (every 6 weeks), as I've done it myself. Over the winter I've not seen evidence of any worms, BUT, I wormed him on Saturday morning and have been picking up wormy droppings ever since, varying from long bean shot types, to very small thin red ones. Thats 4 days now! They've all been dead, but the question is; Is this normal; how long will he continue to expel them and how soon should I worm again? My other horse, which is wormed at the same time has been clear throughout.
Sorry for the revolting thread
