Right we had arrange to fetch the little welshie on sunday..... but if this snow is still around - no way can we get to him.... were only having him as our arm has been twisted - but once i am committed to something then i really do get committed - so now i am worrying myself silly - he is in a field on his own, in the snow - and he really should be tucked up in his stable munching hay - but i was banned from getting him last weekend as I had pushed my leg too much and i was worn out..... tell me if he has lived out for the last 2 years - he will be fine !

p.s. he is a bit on the fat side.... but I really want the little fella safe, but then if i bring him to the home yard i will then be worried daft about him being turned out somewhere new in the snow and ice - especially as he is not going out with my others - as he has to go on a fatty field - and i will never forgive myself if something happens to another horse on the yard because we did not get him settled last week.

Don't fret, welshies are evolved to live in harsh cold mountain conditions, and as you say he has some spare fat which will keep him warm. He'll be warmer out than stood in a stable anyway as he can move to keep warm :)

He will be fine mine wouldnt thank you for a stable in fact the old girl would probably do you a nasty injury if you tried to shut her in one. The youngsters just not used to it but do adapt much better than she does
