worried - moving yards - long

I am moving back to the yard I left 3 months ago long story so wont bore you, but better riding ,stable,grazing etc

I meet one of the other liveries at the feed shop today and she said good to hear you are coming back etc. Then carried on to say that one of the other ladys wa s not happy about me coming back. I had seen the lady at a show over the weekend and she had been very nice to me gave me a hug etc.

I did not leave on bad terms with anyone was told the yard was closing down so had to move now been a change of heart. I have also been told that the un happy ladies daughter age 14 is running yard in the eve as yard owner off teaching and she (kid) tells you when you can feed and ride in the school etc.

I am worried that the un happy woman is a two faced B*** thought she may be before I left and that her kid is going to try and rule me and my daughter.

Part of me thinks sod it and ingnore them anouther part is worried it is going to go tits up!!!!

The only thing that would concern me about this scenario is a 14 year old running the yard.

Pick up the phone and speak to YO and find out what the story is, as obviously that is totally unacceptable.

As for the other - sounds like some uncessary stirring to me, and I'd ignore it.

Agree with AmyMay - speak to the YO and ignore the gossip. I wouldn't be too keen on the yard being run by a 14 year old, though! Sounds like a recipe for disaster IMO!
