Worst lie you've had spread about you on your yard?

following on from post about yard bitchiness...

Apparently i punched one of the horses round the face, beat the same horse round the head with a whip, and stole 2 rugs and a saddle....................

still haven't been sacked though. or even cautioned. either my boss trusts me completely or doesn't give a sh!t. i suspect the latter.

That I had my old horse put down because I couldnt be arsed to look after him anymore - the broken pedal bone not fusing after 8 months box rest and Thousands of £'s being spent on him must have slipped past them un-noticed!!

Matters not - I know I did the right thing for my boy
 
When I was about 19 Someone stole some money from a gymkhanna (sp) and a rumour was spread it was me.. How I dont know as I was out hacking with a friend at the time it happened..

Luckily the YO knew me very well and the police believed me too. I never did find out who started the rumour but whoever it was still better be watching their back as it caused a lot of uspet for me.

The current one and there have been loads is that I brought the strangles onto the yard! My horses havent been anywhere, one has not left the yard since he got there a year ago and my other one isnt even there yet because of all the strangles thing.

The other one is that I told someone my dad pays for my horses, that he gives me £500 a month towards them but that I told someone else he is dead! Well both are true, my stepdad gives me money and my real Dad is dead, they just didnt bother to ask me and decided to talk between themselves about me and lie.
 
Amy (on here Tinkerbee) spread round that i was pregnant and they actually believed her, Vicky actually sat me down and talked about it i was pmsl and she was sooo serious! it's not a laighing matter! LMAO it was hilarious! it still lingers today!!

I spread a rumour to my nags that I actually might get up on time at the weekends to let them out.... I lied!
