Opinions please? Theres a horse table top half an hour away from home tomorrow? I've got a few bits I could sell, as I could do with the cash, but they are all "expensive" items, not cheapo stuff. Is it worth taking it?

Got some nice bridles, girths, breastplates etc

Yes, I think so. If it is at a table top then people are still going to save money on list price aren't they. Well worth it. Where is the sale?

I would if I were you! It can't all be cheap/tatty stuff - if I was going to one I'd be looking for good quality, second hand expensive items that had decent prices rather than cheap less good stuff :))

I wish you luck. I've taken some nice quality tack and priced them incredibly reasonably but my experience is a lot of people at table top sales prefer to rummage through loads of boxes of tat than pick up an absolute bargain for good quality tack.

The benefit of taking good stuff is you often only have to sell one or two items to cover your costs, so you probably won't lose anything even if you'd don't make a fortune. If you have some cheap tat too, take it as back up - it always amazes me what people are prepared to pay money for!

Or can you share a table with a friend to reduce costs?

Yes, definitely take it! I'm going to a table top sale tomorrow (sadly not the same one) and I'm hoping to find some decent second hand stuff, especially leatherwork (as horse can't bear the smell of new stuff).
