Wosley Lark clippers

Does no one here have them then? I think they are fairly new. The rep was full of praise for them. Apparently the shape is much nicer and they have changed how you do the tension to make it easier

- They are smaller, quieter and MUCH lighter. The tension is the same except the knob is a little bit bigger and the spring more flimsy, which I'm sure with just the right amount of spin could be considered 'easier'. It is slightly poetic to suggest the way you tension them has changed.

They are exactly the same as Liveryman Red Rocket and Lister Cutli clippers except they have a head that takes A2 blades. They weigh 1.010 kg and have a noise level of approx. 72 dB (A). A swift weighs 1.2kg. No data available for the swift noise but your new one is quieter.

They have paired a permanent magnet motor (much better weight,size,noise/power ratio than universal motors with a field coil) with a PCB with replaceable components which makes them cheaper to fix than similar clippers with chips and whatever else on an expensive PCB. They have the same style capacitor as every other Lister Germany*** clipper, they do tend to blow often but at £10 x 2(ish) to replace it's not a major repair.

*** This clipper and all of the clippers on this page http://www.lister.de/temp/explorer/files/downloads/LISCOP_Animal_Clippers.pdf come from Lister Germany and are branded or bought and then branded as Wolseley, Liveryman, Lister Gmbh and Liscop.

Not sure if any of that interests you but...
