wot makes a friend???

i had a very good friend and over the past 2 weeks i have not really heard from this person and i dont know why??? i never have any calling credit and this person always has??? we have been good friends for many years now, but ever since x-mas our frienship has faded... is this the end of our friendship or do you think i should make the mends if there is anything to mend.. advice please......

Perhaps your friend felt like she was the one keeping the friendship going if you never have any call credit to call her?

I know I would eventually get fed up of doing all the running in a friendship and back off. She is probably waiting to see if you call her. Do you not have a land line you can call her from and explain the situation, or do you not have an email address?
 
Two weeks isn't a long time at all! I have friends who I don't speak to for months sometimes, it doesn't mean the friendship means any less. People get busy with their own life. What matters is that you are still close when you do get together.

You do both need to make an effort though. Why don't you put some credit on your phone and text or call your friend?

PS - you might get a better response to this if you put it in the Common Room.
