To be honest a few old fashioned / judgemental people might look (I'm sure even they will be 'too British' to laugh) but generally I think people are too preoccupied worrying about themselves and also watching
(1) the people having tantrums (for entertainment)
(2) the people struggling to control horses (to stay safely out of the way!!)
So, assuming you aren't planning either of the above,

I don't think many people will even notice your arab

I really don't think people would laugh, and so what if they did? I sometimes get catty comments when I jump my fell at shows but I don't care, we soon wipe the smiles off their faces when we do well! Go for it

super star i had a fell pony when i was younger he was fab and i love the breed! OP who cares what anyone else thinks! i know too many people who are afraid of doing whatever they want with their horses as they think they wont look right and people will laugh! as long as your horse is happy and i am sure he/she is capable then stuff anyone else! i hope you go and get placed just to rub salt in anyone that is nasty

I haven't taken my arab out yet but am planning too, and would be very annoyed and disappointed if anyone laughed at us. Yes she can be spooky and stubborn, but when she uts her mind to it she's a fab little horse, and I think arabs can excel at anything they put their minds too.

I say take her and ignore the ignorant people who might look.

TBH your horse in that picture at least doesn't look full arab more like a partbred/ anglo arab.
Of course Tamarillo is an anglo arab and anyone who laughed at him will be laughing the other side of their face now

You see all shapes and sizes eventing these days at lower levels from tiny ponies upwards. I say go and have fun he looks like he will be brill at it

As above Tamarillo is a PBA. There is/was a horse on the French national team who was full Arab, and competed at the (Sydney?) Olympics.

There have been some very good full Arab eventers, so just ignore the few people that look down their nose (jealous prudes) and give it a go
