I have a talented 5 ish who I have just found out has 2 vertebrae very close together, the vet
said that she is likely to require a cortisone injection
every 12 months, will I ever be able to sell her or have I got her
for life!

Depends on the price. I'd buy her if the price is right - the buyer will be commiting to a big cost with treatment so sh'ed need to be cheap. Is surgery not an option for her? How much have you advertised her at?

Nope never, and I'd go much further and say that if she was mine, I'd never sell her - who knows how much she'll be passed around, how much worse she'll get, who she'll injure, the pain she will suffer (and make no mistake, she will!!) on and on and on.

I'm sorry to be so harsh, but if she's no good to you, you should consider PTS for her sake.

No. Never. I would be setting myself up for a very long, very expensive and very tough road IMO.

Why on earth would anyone in this current climate, pay good money on a horse with problems when there are 1000's of perfectly healthy one's?

Shes not that bad according the vet that it would justify an operation, I don't have her up for sale at the moment as my intention was never to sell her regardless of her 'kissing spine' issue its due to the loss of my job that I have to consider it.
