Just wondering. I have a friend that needs a sharer/loaner for her horse to hack out most days and to come and muck out/ do part of his care. Certainly for the next few months they would have exclusive use of the horse (due to friend's operation). He's a 17 hh heavyweight. He is a well behaved 7 year old happy hacker but is a shiverer and vet has advised regular hacking to help him with this. Fabulous small yard with indoor school and very private.

Just wondering if my friend is likely to get anyone interested in this arrangement. She's based in South Lincolnshire.

Thanks. I found one person who was very interested but sadly works in London during the week and he needs more exercise than just weekends. Plus my friend will be unable to muck out for a few months.

Its the kind of arrangement I have with the horse I ride, I pay for her shoes and have just bought her a saddle, but basically I help out with my friends other horses and anything else that needs doing on the yard. walk dogs when friend is away, mucking out, poo picking and helping with any general yard stuff as and when required - works out to be mutually beneficial as I have a horse to play with who would otherwise be difficult to sell on (but I love her to bits and treat like my own) and she has someone she trusts to look after the place when she's not there.

Absolutely! But I live in the South East so unfortunately I couldn't - but if I saw an ad for this in my area, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up the phone.

As someone else said, put it on preloved - that's how I found my part loan too.

Good luck, hope she finds someone. :)
