Would anyone like to CC a photo of my boy before I bought him?

Please don't be too nasty, he is my pride and joy. As you can see from the date it was nearly 8 years ago I bought him, and we went through a tough time through various things, but I'd be curious of your opinon on age, condition etc

I'll put a 'now' photo on afterwards.

So this was his advert photo- the day before I bought him (not me on him there)

Again, dont be too harsh, he had problems I never knew about when I bought him and he was sold as a different age, but he's the best little guy ever now. Everyone I've met has said hes very lucky to have found me .

Bless, he looks sweet! Although that front foot looks a little funny and he appears a little 'bunched up'.

Would love to see what he looks like now though!

Can't do a cc from that pic but he looks bright and intelligent and a good keen sort. Let's see a now pic then!

I'm no expert so my CC is a pinch of salt, so instead I'd say what would go through my head if I was viewing horse and trying to do the whole 'finding a fault' routine -

Back looks quite short
Back knees (don't know the name ) look almost back to front!

Gorgeous cow-horse however!

ETA: it might not be the knees, just something from the knee upwards seems a little off for me when I look! Not sure if I can place it though!

Oh dear, his legs were the least of my worry!

He did have a very short back then. Doesnt help that they seem to have used a saddle in that photo thats plonked pretty much on his neck!

His neck was incredibly upright...

Any ideas on age from it anyone?

I'm taking a stab in the dark at 3ish (I'm not much good at guesing ages!)
