Would anyone like to rescue my poor, mistreated horse?

I have been accused on facebook of mistreating BH. If anyone would like to rescue him that would be super. He's driving me bonkers! :D

He's really called Bradley. Does that help? You can call him whatever you want, it's not like he answers to it or anything. He thinks his name is 'pack that in you big idiot' anyway! :D

Why on earth has someone said that?!

I remember when i was about 16 someone told a bunch of people that i set fire to my horses stable for insurance money. Despite the fact that said horse was alive and kicking in a perfectly fire free stable.

Don't worry about it. I had the RSPCA turn up on one of my yards to investigate my poor neglected horse because I hadn't been to see him for 6 weeks whilst in Australia. Poor yard manager was bemused to find the inspector turning up to look at my poor neglected full livery horse!

Some people are just full of rubbish!

Some FB nutter once created an account/page in my horse's name and then posted stuff like "I'm here stuck in my box, haven't been out for days", when at that very moment daughter was riding said horse and I was mucking the box out!!!! Daughter complained to FB and it got removed/closed but we never did find out who it was!!

I don't think reassurance is particularly necessary ;)

Do love FB generally but it can be a double-edged sword / playground for loons.

Oy - just post him down to live with Giant Fuzzy, am sure he can't be worse!:eek:
Will have to live in tree-lined paddock all summer, plenty of shade, well drained (except along the fence line where giant fuzzy has trashed it). Virtually ungrazed on one side as cows are in next door field with calves/ to calve and giant fuzzy hates/ is scared of cows!
Lots of lovely pingy electric fence - and 2 gorgeous fuzzies (Big & tiny) in adjacent paddock for neck/wither/fetlock mutual scratching :D

TFF, seeming to be running a home for nutters!

Poor bh. I would rescue him but it would be out of the frying pan into the fire with me... He'd be stuck in with my emaciated ponies on rubbish grass and be forced to work against his will :D

BH's name is not Brown Horse? I'm genuinely gutted!

No it isn't :( But I really do call him BH in RL. No one ever calls him Bradley. I did think about making his registered name Brown Horse but it's already taken :( :( Besides, Weatherbys want £147 to name him so he's just staying unnamed! lol :D

TFF- I often feel that I am also running a home for the loopier equines in the world. Although in fairness both of them were quite delightful this morning. Don't know what came over them :D

o, and she isn't some total weirdo. She works for one of the leading charities  I did suggest she report me if she were that concerned. Somehow I don't think they'll be that interested in the fact I am not wholly sympathetic to BH screaming like a banshee whenever I ride Nitty. I might even report myself and see what happens :p

She'd better come here too then :D The Appy gets such a strop on if anyone else is given any attention, even though she gets to stay with the old cob and the sheep. The neighbours all know if the big girl is taken out, from the screams from the Appy

Another one gutted that she had deleted her comments by the time I had a look :( Party pooper!

As for BH you can keep him its ok he would only scream the place down with knobberts friend if he came here and one screaming TB is enough for me thanks. I'm still on the suggestion you shoot him in the knees :p

Natch, apparently because I don't feel sorry for him screaming his head off and want him to shut up so that I can ride my (quite flighty) 4yo without him distracting her I am horrible and he is mistreated. I think the jist was that I should feel awful for him, never moan about him and probably shouldn't be allowed animals because I clearly don't love him enough.

I must add that I have to bring him in to scream as if I leave him in the field he runs up and down and threatens to jump the fence. Neither of which is good for his leg which is meant to be resting and definitely isn't good for the other horses he stirs up. And he was stood in with company. We're in a barn with grills between stables and he could touch noses with another horse. Therefore I conclude he is a knobber and reserve the right to call him names :p

If its any consolation I've just been accused of abuse because my horse is in a field full of ragwort, only its not ragwort, they're buttercups. :D
