Hey all I have a 5yo ID x TB who I will be looking to sell next year. I was wondering whether I should take him out showing to broaden his appeal (and experience as he is rather green atm) but I have absolutely no idea about showing. I know you cant really see his conformation on either of these pics but I dont seem to have any others of him on the computer - but on the whole does he look well enough marked or look the right "sort" for showing. Im not worried if he isnt as I think his real calling is jumping probably as a RC eventer but just wondered what people think.

Sorry rubbish picture to evaluate showing quality I really need to get some more of him.

Can't comment on his showing potential but if you were thinking of selling as eventer/top RC type perhaps it would be better to get him to dressage/SJ etc? keeping an eye on what sells and what has sold from our yard - the horses that had competition experience/exposure were sold very quickly, the mare who had done little (but well put together) has been much harder to sell. They sold a very nice young mare 16.1 (TB x conn) but by the time she came up to sell, she had been xc training with pix, unaffiliated dressage results and jumping.
