Okay, basically I work (well I suppose that's what you'd call it) for a very nice lady, bringing on and selling her horses (we're backing them together next year ect so I get experience to do this as that's what I want to do).
I'm looking to sell the one I have around Octoberish before the nights draw in too far as we have no floodlights and I have my own two girls to sort out (and I'm gagging for more time with them).
However, I'm a bit under pressure to sell him for what I think is more than he's worth. Basically my instructor thinks £4000 - £4500 so put him up at £5000, because he's very very safe, not common, regestered, anyone's ride, handsome, does everything and does it all well ect. (but don't worry about this bit, I'll put him up for it to start off with and if no response then I'll lower it, worth a try I guess, plus I do have someone interested by word of mouth xD)
I don't want to sell him before the end of the month because it gives me a chance to do some XC schooling and hopefully a mini ODE as well as to further his flatwork to make him worth the price tag a little more. I also have someone coming to see him on the 29th September though I think I could arrange for her to come sooner.
Do you think I should start to advertise him now as with his price tag it allows more time for people to respond, and if I don't have any interest by the time the other person who is coming to see him, and if she doesn't get on with him or something, then re-advertise him as less?
I hope this makes sense.
