to bath....or at least wash the legs of my yearling this weekend. I want her to meet the hose pipe before the weather turns but looks like I've lost my window. I don't want her to get cold (she lives out) but I don't fancy fighting with her next year.

It's meant to be quite nice this weekend I think. I was just thinking this evening I might give my two their last bath of the summer tomorrow assuming the sun is out. I'm sure she'll live. If she goes out after wards she can potter about to keep warm anyway :)

It would be lunch time/early afternoon so she should be dry before it gets cold. I'll wash her legs and see how I get on....I may not be able to bath her anyway lol!

Mine are 6 and 3 now and there is no guarantee that I'll be able to bath mine either! last time BH pulled down half the wall. I'm not even joking. Half a WALL!! Horrible snot face. I hope you get on better than me

She still doesn't tie up perfectly so I'm hoping a lunge line and haynet will do the trick.....next time I'm not having the sob story I'm getting the sensible been there done it horse! ;)

likewise. I got Nits when she was just rising two and she already behaves better than BH for the vet/farrier/dentist/hosepipe. Loads better too. She'll even have the clippers on her if she cuts herself.

I went soft last winter and she was allowed to wear a rug. I have no will power! She is a TB though. Does that make it better? :o

Phew. Before I had her she was a naked girl. She was a proper little ball of fluff when I bought her. Very cute when attached but a nightmare when it started to moult. I'm trying to convince her to calm down the hair growth a bit for this year!!
