Would it be too much for his first show?

I was thinking about taking my 2 year old but after thinking it through i have come to the decision that it might be too much too soon.
It would be his first show he is 2 its just a youngstock class but it is 1 hoour 30 mins by car.
Do you agree it would be too much?

Only when he came to me which was a 4 hour journey and then hes just been in and out of trailer and we were going to take him for a little drive on sat

IMO it's a bit of a long way to go, a 3hr+ round trip........ he''ll be tired, not to mention you with all the driving! I'd hang on untill something came up closer to home

Personally I wouldn’t, not for a first show (as 3 hours plus in the trailer is quite long for a baby) I would find something more local. But then Bodey’s first show was at the local equestrian centre 10 minutes away. Other may disagree though.

I thought with it being so far away it might put him off a bit for the next time aswell, its hard to fing shows he can do into though with him being young

An hour and a half by car is going to be about two hours with a trailer. I wouldn't do it, too far too young, for a first show.
