Would it be worth asking?

I've read several threads on here about timewasters responding to adverts asking if people would consider loan when horse is advertised for sale, etc.

I've spotted a local ad for a horse for full loan but it is stipulated that it has to remain at current yard (which happens to be right in my village). Due to time/money constraints I'm only thinking about looking for a share or part loan. I'm unsure whether it would be a good idea to contact them about the horse as I don't want to come across as a timewaster.

Not many other shares seem to be coming up near me (everything that looks interesting is at least 10-15 miles away). I'm checking local tack shops & online for ads. Anyone have and iudeas of where else to look?

I think it's worth an ask, as long as you make it clear on the phone that that is what you are looking for. IMO you'd only be a time waster if you turned up acting interested in buying it then asked about a share!

I too think its worth asking as long as you are totally clear from the start.
That way owner can say no from the start Iraq consider utterly knowing exactly what you want.

That way you can not be called a time waster!
