Horse got crazy excited bucking as he fairly often often does today, w ent straight over his head and onto my head and elbow! Obv was wearing hat, was onto grass so I have a fairly minor fracture to elbow in a sling :-( glad about the grass!
Was getting saddle fitted for him on Sat as was giving the great lump the benefit of the doubt (fairly sure today was pure stupidity) but will have to postpone since I can't ride! Booo!!
How on earth are you supposed to sleep?!
The hospital said to take paracetamol, I mean really? Should I have asked them for something stronger as I had codeine there? Can a pharmacist give you anything stronger than ibuprofen etc?

(backfired on them when I threw up in their nice clean corridor...). Anyway, I was sent home with the following: paracetamol 1000mg and brufen 400mg both x4 daily. That did the trick nicely as long as no dose missed. I was on that for a week before I could start reducing amounts.
