Would like to smack this kid...

I can't quite grasp why a seventeen year old needed to burn the plastic off a bale of hay to "play with the hay inside" ????

They make him sound like a curious two year old for goodness sake, and yes "ordered to behave" is laughable!

He'd be better off being forced to work for the farmer for no pay for a few months and see how hard it can be to actually have to work every day instesad of having play time!

...Mmmm... doesn't quite ring true.. :confused:I think they had been trying to burn the lot and must have been persistent.

Anyone ever tried burning hay/haylage wrappers?? Even on an intense fire they are VERY difficult to burn!!

He may just have bankrupt that farmer or caused all his animals to starve this winter and he gets told to behave???

So if i sent my 16 year old cousin to kick the crap out of this kids and teach him a lesson do you think he woul be told 'to behave' as well???

Honestly the justice system in the UK is a laugh and with the lack of police due to cut backs I can see this country getting to be a very disgraceful (well more so) place to live. A one way ticket to anywhere is better than here me thinks. :(

totally agree that he should be made to work for the farmer, for free. he should be made to bale the next lot of hay as well and then he will see just how much hard work goes into running a farm.
scumbag

A couple of years ago some idiot asbo kids burnt down our farmer's hay barn with hundreds of small bales of hay inside. All we had in our own stable was a week's supply, I remember madly trying to scrabble round to get more hay for our horses, and the farmer for his cows and sheep. The fire went on for days.
