Long story short - was riding with my friend today, had hired a RS horse for her for the hour.. Bob the cob is a very new addition to the yard - 6yo but very green ( issues with canter, moving forward off the leg, steering, leaning etc )

So we swopped horses half way through riding & I took Bob the cob for a spin.... first time Id ridden another horse since buying my own last year - god it felt strange at first but cracked on.... By the end of the session I managed to get a good tune out of him, was moving nice & forward off the leg & was not leaning half as much - also managed to get him to understand the canter aid & he motored on... got such a buzz from it & it proved to me how much my riding has come on....

So here is the question - thinking it may be good for me & my riding to ride something else one to two days a week - am not a pro rider by any stretch of the imagination lol but do sit quiet & have quiet hands.... have learnt heeps producing my own youngster.... Would there be any owners that would look for people to help school during the week???

I would think so, i myther others to school mine because i cant be bothered/find it really boring! I have nice almost sensible horses and more than happy to do them favours in return though :)

There are also people who are working all day and have only evening to do the horse and everything else and would be glad to have someone to ride for them on a week day, it takes some pressure off them.
